The High Desert Wine Club has been a tradition within Desert Highlands for more than twenty years. HDWC members have the opportunity to share their love of wine with other Desert Highlands wine enthusiasts, sharing with new and old friends.
Due to Arizona’s law which restricts personal wines from being brought into establishments that have a liquor license, the HDWC was formed so that members could enjoy wines from their personal cellars while dining at the Desert Highlands Clubhouse.
Incorporated in Arizona, the HDWC is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c(7)) nonprofit corporation. HDWC is a private social club that is not legally affiliated with Desert Highlands. However, the HDWC works closely with Desert Highlands on its events. The HDWC does not receive a monetary benefit from any of its events.
